  This normally would have a five star. I went the day before my baby shower to relax and my pedicure was AMAZING. My Gel Manicure on the other hand was not so great. The manicurist that did my nails seemed like she really didn’t want to be there. It was very uncomfortable, I had to have a tray on my lap to hold the light and because of my pregnant belly it kept sliding off. Even with seeing what’s difficult time I was having trying to balance the tray, she didn’t even try to help make me more comfotable.The manicurist didn’t even notice that the light wasn’t even turning on when I put my hands in it. So my nails weren’t even drying before she put another coat on. When I mentioned it she said “oh I’m sorry I wasn’t even paying attention.”. Even after that, I had to keep pressing the button on the back to make sure the light would come on and that my nails were drying. When I was almost done another customer came in requesting a manicure. The manicurist that was working on me was asked to go work on the other lady as soon as she was done. She customer then requested someone else to do her nails and manicurist said in front of me, “oh that’s ok, I don’t even want to work today anyways. I went out last night and I have a really bad headache.” She proceeded go ontalking about how her boyfriend is very jealous. I was shocked that she would say that in front of a customer. I just feel that this is very unprofessional. . After I left I noticed that the nail polish had bubbles in it and it didn’t even go all the way down to my cuticles.It was less than a week and my nails started to chip. I have had a gel manicure here in the past and it was amazing. I was incredibly disappointed this time around. I will go back because I like the shop, but I will defiantly be asking for someone else to help me in the future.
