  Stayed there 2 nights over the holidays. Overall a great place to say - specially if you have kids. It's away from the chaos of Monterey and very quiet. Decent pool and breakfast options.
  
  4 stars and not 5 - since the breakfast options, while varied, are in very limited quantities - even the coffee kept running out. We were told the hotel was sold out and hence the rush.
  
  They have a really nice sitting area with gas fireplaces outside and you can see the ocean from there. There's a bunch of stores and food options nearby as well. Highly recommend - we'd stay there again.

  I really liked this hotel. I stayed at this one for one night, but I really hoped that I could have for more. The suite that was given was wonderful, and the wifi worked beautifully, enabling me to get a lot of work done. A nice touch that they added was the tiny reading light at the top of the head of the bed. They offered complimentary breakfast, but I cannot be certain of if they vary it daily because I only stayed for one night. But, the breakfast they had satisfied me. Overall, they gave me the things I like about hotels, as well as a few little touches to top it off.
